Ann Guo Skov

I was born and raised in China. I have a Master’s degree in Business Administration and have worked for more than 20 years in multinational companies, including the United States. Ikea. I have also lived and studied in Brussels.

I am married to my Danish husband Peter. Together we have two children, one born in Brussels, one in China. When the children were small, we lived in China, the last 10 years we have lived in Denmark. I therefore have in-depth knowledge of the culture, values and school systems in both countries.

I am deeply interested in Grundtvig’s idea of life education and folk high school. Both have been of great importance to me, because it has helped me to find meaning and value in my own life. I sincerely wish to be able to inspire my countrymen and tell about Grundtvig’s thoughts. I think it could be of joy and benefit to a lot of people – both school people, individuals and families.
