Mette Højland

I graduated from the Free Teachers’ College in Ollerup and have worked for 22 years as a folk high school teacher. I am deeply touched when people meet in trust, so it is my focal point both as a facilitator and as a teacher.

I have traveled a lot in the world and have also been on countless journeys inwards in an insatiable curiosity about what it means to be human and live a life for joy and benefit both for myself and my surroundings.

On these journeys, I found new nuances in the Grundtvigian that give me a large and rich interpersonal and spiritual foundation. The key to the foundation is about conversation, about being able to be present, about listening and about creating together – both with each other and that which is bigger than us.
